Program Description:
UW-Eau Claire's offers affordable, non-credit English as a Second Language instruction to professionals as well as students whose first language is not English. Academic year and summer programs are available. Program costs include on campus housing, meal plan, university campus environment, free city bus transportation and much more. There is no TOEFL requirement for this program, but two years of English language prep and a high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Students enrolled can expect to improve their English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. High quality instruction and innovative teaching methods are provided in a friendly and safe community atmosphere. Semester programs begin in January and September. Summer programs start in June and July.

Eligibility Requirements:
The criteria for selection include academic achievement and proof of financial need. This scholarship is given annually and may be renewable for up to nine academic semesters. A transfer student's terms of eligibility will be adjusted accordingly. Only students who have been fully accepted by the UW-Eau Claire Admissions Office are eligible for the award
